Hey Nikki,
Congratulations on your interview! As for Lasalle, I don't have any specific info, but I do know a couple of CRNAs that are Lasalle graduates and they have spoken very highly of the program. Best of luck.

Yeah I know, I heard most of the programs in Philly are integrated and you start clinicals right away. I guess waiting until the summer to start clinicals could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. On one hand, I would have more time to devote solely to academics, on another hand, sometimes doing things hands on helps me learn. I'm glad your friend got in with only 6 mo. experience because that's all I have at this point-- I have a 3.9 GPA though. I will have almost 3 years by the time I start in Sept. 2006. Anyone else have any words of wisdom??

Lasalle has an intergrated program like most of the schools in the Philly area.

According to the info. I received from the school, classes start in September, and clinical rotations begin in the summer of the junior year.

Montgomery students participate in the co-op teaching, and we attend the same lectures together. They are in clinical from the first semester. Maybe they plan on changing things in the future, but as it stands they are not front loaded. Penn, Crozer, Montgomery and Nazareth participate in co-op teaching where all the students attend the same lectures together. They are all intergrated programs.

I interviewed at Montgomery Hospital in 1988 and am a 1990 graduate. I'm sure many things are much different now, however I received an excellent education, have been able to work competently and comfortably in many different settings and highly recommend this school. Best of Luck!

Thanks, DKSH for your input. My interview there went well and I was very impressed with the school.
