I'm not an RN yet, but I'm interested in this field. Do you know of any schools in Florida for this? How much schooling is it?
Do you enjoy this field? Is the pay good? How are the employment opportunities in this field?

My best friend and business partner is a CRNA in Ohio, and you need a MSN (Masters in Nursing) to be acccepted to most if not all CRNA schools. They also preferred ICU experience she said. She started out making (5 years ago) in the $130,000 range, but managed care has really cut that BIG TIME... and those cuts will likely continue... That's why she is joining me in another business. BUT.. if you'd like to chat with her, I'm sure she wouldn't mind. Just let me know... and I'll refer the message... excellm@flash.net

The pay varies widely depending on the practice setting. Some CRNAs are making the megabucks working in rural areas in private practice settings while others are working for anesthesia groups with much smaller income potentials due to the overhead of this type of practice. Don
