I got in!!!

I just found out I got accepted to Middle Tennesse School of Anesthesia!!! I am on cloud nine. My prayers are with all of you waitng to hear. Keep plugging away and it will happen for you as well. Anyone out there who thinks they are too old to do this think again. I start in August of 2004 one month before my 50th birthday. Aint life grand?

That is wonderful. Keep posting and let us know how you are doing in school. Feel free to send a private message if you need any moral support. Your age should not be a problem, you will be a little more mature than some of the others.

Congrats

Way to go, Tom! I remember the day I got my acceptance letter from Samford. After 5 months of school, I still can't believe it!
It is great. I am 35 and the people I study with at school range in age from 32-41. I think the years of experience and "maturity" are a bonus!

Are you still going to your other interviews or is that your school of choice?
