I can't believe I can finally post this.....

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw the letter in the mail today and immediately dropped everything in my arms, tore open the envelope, and started screaming. The people in my apartment building probably thought I was nuts but I don't care!!! I got accepted to Montgomery Hospital/ Lasalle U. for the class starting in Sept. 2006. I only have 8 months of nursing experience and was up against about 40 other interviewees for 15 spots, many of whom have at least 5 years of experience!!! I am in shock and I can't believe it!!!! :hatparty:

Congratulations Emerald!!!!!!! From your previous posts, I know you've been very focused about this goal so it's great to hear you are in--and to Lasalle too, which you seemed so impressed with. They let you know so quickly too, which is also great. It's well deserved and I wish you continued good fortune with your training and in your chosen profession!!!!! :hatparty:

Now go celebrate, relax and enjoy. From what these boards indicate, once you start, life as you know it temporarily gets put on hold

Congratulations Emerald! It's weird, I can remember when the both of us were members of this board and still undergrads posting in the student nursing forum, and now we're both all grown up and heading to anesthesia school... *sniffle*sniffle*(wipes away a single tear shed for nostalgia's sake).....

Again, CONGRATS!!
