Does anyone have suggestions on where to purchase quality health insurance for "family" coverage during school? I know that the school provides a plan, but it sure does'nt seem like it's that great of coverage. I would'nt care as much except that I have small children that still need their regular clinic visits and it could get pricey having to pay high copays and deductables every visit. I would like to check out a few other options before I purchase the school's plan.

I looked at the schools insurance plan too for comparison since my wife is going back to part-time and the insurance costs more. To cover me, my wife and 2 kids was around $12,000/ year with only mediocre coverage. My wife's plan at her hospital for part-time is only 300/month or $3600/year and a much better plan. It's a costly venture to insure a family while going to CRNA school. Best of luck to you.

Try ehealthinsurance.com
The best coverage I found was through Unicare at unicare.com
My sister and her husband got coverage for a family with 2 children with prescription benefits and $2000 deductible pp for $267 a month. Keep in mind most rates are based on the area in which you live. The first website lists multiple provider rates. Good Luck!
