Question Going to Duke for a meeting with director - questions

I will be applying for the 1/05 class. I am meeting with the director 11/10, sitting in on a class and meeting with a student who went to my undergrad school (Emory). In general, I think this meeting has the potential to make my app. more favorable (OR I could blow it by committing some sort of faux pas).
Should I wear a nice suit (I'm a woman)? Should I bring my transcripts? Does ANYONE have any advice or comments? Do I come right out and ask what I can do to make my application more favorable? Thanks in advance, Suzanne

Yes, wear a suit. This is as good a time as any to make a first impression. I would also bring your portfolio. They may not ask for it, but you will have it there should they want more info about you. You should ask as many questions as you can, and definitely ask what you can do to make yourself a more attractive applicant.
Good luck.

FlyingED,

What I mean by portfolio is your CV certifications etc. Anything you may think that is pertinent. These things may not be needed, but it doesn't hurt to have them with you just in case.
