CRNA salary in five years?

Hello,
Salary seems to be a big topic thats gets brought up pretty frequently on this board. CRNA salaries have gone up dramatically over the last few years. Even since about two years ago it seems the salary's have skyrocketed. I can remember researching salaries a little over a year ao and it seemed that starting full time was around 120,000 but now I see job postings starting at 150-160,000. If this trend keeps up will we be millionaires soon? haha, anyhow, what do you think that the average CRNA starting salaries are going to look like in say 5 years?

Re: CRNA salary in five years?

No crystal ball here, but we have to consider two things: how do we fit into the inevitable health care reform that will happen and market forces. Economics 101 should be a requirement for all anesthetists and other nurses who wish to have a say in their future.
