CRNA Personality Types

For all you CRNAs and CRNA students, what is the general personality type for this profession, or does it vary? I know in nursing you see shy, conservative to outgoing and liberal. Just wondering what best personality traits make a great CRNA. And which ones dont! THANKS!

Many different personality traits, this is true.....but, one thing I heard often when interviewing school directors was the word "anal"! One program head mentioned that most of the SRNA applicants selected were perfectionists, independent, strong-minded, focused, driven, and thorough.

I would have to agree with a lot of those descriptions. I have been having a hard time finding people in Anesthesiaology online to chat with. Which is one reaosn why I cam here. My experience has told me that the majority of those willing to chat online with a person about their field. are some of the more careing and kind poeple in that field.
