Talking crna in california

Where are the places that CRNA's are commonly used in california? Is there a lot of opportunity in Northern Cal than So CAl? What are the capacities in which Crna's are used? Dental offices? Really vascular cases in teaching hospitals? Where are all of U?

Re: crna in california

I am a SRNA in southern california. There are many opp. for jobs in southern california. Kaiser Perm. alone has about 8 hospitals in the LA area (all are short with their staffing). UCLA and USC (university hospital & County) utilize CRNAs. University california Irvine, Navy, VA and California Medical center use CRNAs. Plus there are lots of surgery centers. Hope that helps.

VA's use CRNA's. They do everything other than cardiac. SFVA is hiring now.

Talking Re: crna in california

thank you for the info!

I will be starting in August at Samuel Merritt. I was looking at where I may look to work after graduation since I am from San Diego. I was hearing mixed emotions about having a lot of jobs here in San Diego versus the Bay area. I have not seen many posts about jobsin California...I was just curious! Thanks!
