I'm kind of new to this board i read the threads but this is my first time writing and posing a question of my own. so here's my question, what are anesthetist groups and how they work? i read in one of the crna thread that theyhave paid $200,000 to start in certain area and also pay for schooling could this be true?

An Anesthesia group is a group that contracts their services out to hospitals. Some anesthesia groups have exclusive contracts with a certain network, while others might have contracts with several places all over their area. Anesthesia groups can be CRNAs only, anesthesiologists only, or a combination of the two. As far as the salary, it is possible and you do have to work for it. Yes Very Possible that is a salary range , I know of a few that just finished school and were offered in that range.
