who would have thought I would have ever made it this far.
don't know everything yet. and it makes me nervous. I am nervous about the boards. I have had a good residency here at Texas tech and for now I will plan on staying here to work for a little while.
thanks to all who have contributed to this database/ a wealth of knowledge.

Me too, buddy!! I have until December 17 and am quite anxious about boards! I feel like I have learned a lot, but also forgotten a lot.

It's three months to go for me, too. Are there any other graduating seniors who are starting to get a bit freaked out because there is so much more to know before graduation, and yet so little time?
Every time I think I have this thing under control, I have a crappy day where I can't get epidurals in, I miss an intubation, or my mind can't bring forth the important stuff I have learned when I am on the spot.
Is this a normal feeling? I am wondering if others are feeling this, too, or if you are just so focused on finishing and getting a job that the "I-can't-graduate-because-I-still-have-more-to-learn" hasn't set in...

every time i take out the valley review book, i come across stuff i either forgot or havent locked into memory. i graduated on the 19th of this month and now are REALLY starting to sweat boards. i also get this feeling that there is something i'm forgetting to do...then i remember all i have left to do is study.

congrats guys!! i have 9 mos left - but the last 3 are study months (no clinical ...) but i believe that what you are feeling is natural and evidence of a good and safe practitioner...questioning ourselves and staying alert will spur us to constantly learn and attempt to become better at what we do...
again - congrats...

Folks, you are all going to do fine. Study you Valley Review. Take a deep breath, relax.

By the way, while you are relaxing, give yourselves a pat on the back for what you have accomplished so far. Well done.
