Question WCCCD - 1st Semester Nursing Students

Does anyone have the book list given to us in orientation? I know the ones that are required, but I was looking for the recommended and optional books. I cannot find the list anywhere and I want to purchase my books in the morning, so if someone could post them, please do so. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I thought that all the books on that list was required. I have the list if you want it or is there another list other than the one that we got at orientation?

I don't know if they are all required or not because I don't remember. I haven't seen my list since a day or so since orientation. I know it's asking a lot, but could you please list ALL of the books on the list because I'm going in the the morning to buy my books and I want to get all of them. Oh, it's the same list given to us in orientation. Thanks so much!

Re: WCCCD - 1st Semester Nursing Students

I have Foundations lab on Monday from 8-2 and then lecture from 3-5. I'm soooo anxious and just ready to see what it is going to be like because I need to form my own opinions. I have Maddie for everything and I have heard a lot about her...some good, but some bad.

Did everyone buy there books? I did and they're heavy! I had to go out and buy a rolling backpack and I'm not even a fan of them. I still have to buy my uniform and shoes, but I pretty much have everything else. I ordered my name tags at orientation but didn't even think to ask how we were to pick them up...anybody know?

I'm getting my study room together now as we speak. I know it's going to be no joke, but like I always say, "anything worth having is worth working hard for!"

We still have time to buy uniforms that's why I am in no big rush to get them. I got a great Olympia rolling backpack on overstock.com for $19.99. (I didn't like them either) I have to go get some white tshirts for lab.

I went to Marshall's to order my name tag a couple weeks ago and I think that she said that the first batch were in already but don't quote me. Call Marshall's directly for that, I have to call myself.
