Thank you both! I will let you know when I hear.
DB,
Are we going to have dose calculations (from page nine in the notes) and creatinine clearance equations on the exam tomorrow?

I received the "official" letter yesterday. I am in and pretty pumped about it. Thanks again for the info.

Congrats! That is great news! So how is Pharm going? We had our first patho exam yesterday and it was tough! I'm a bit worried about pharm in fall. Who do you have as an instructor, and are they good?

Thank You. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it.
Pharm is good. We had our first exam yesterday too. Our instructor is Deb Smith. She is down to earth, straight-forward, and good about getting the key points across while relating them to the "big picture". My only concern is that she seems to omit a good amt. of topics bc of the accelerated pace of the course (and for some reason she lets us out early every class, go figure).

Hi Brian,
I will have Mrs Smith for Pharm this fall. It looks like the study guide to accompany the text is recommended but not required. Did you find it helpful? I bought the study guide for patho this spring, but there was so much to read from the regular text that I never had time to even look at the study guide manual.
I am both excited and dreading (being broke) the next 16 months! Have you applied for financial aid?
Do you have your health forms completed? I faxed mine this week. Had to have a tetanus booster that hurt for a week... I kid you not!!! LOL

Hey Rachele,
Hopefully Mrs. Smith is the same Deb Smith that taught Pharm this summer. She was great.. I didn't buy the study guide for Pharm. Those study guides can be nice, but like you said, its hard to put a lot of time into them. I got along just fine with her course pack that had notes and the text. (I still have the text. If you want to save some $ you can use it)
I feel you, I am gonna be a pretty broke guy these next two years. I have applied for financial aid, but it looks like I will be financing most of it.
I submitted the health forms and was cleared to register today. I did not register yet tho. Does it seem like our courses are already sectioned out? I wonder if there is any flexibility with scheduling.
Haha. My tetanus was sore for a bit too.
Are you going to the welcome ceremony on the 24th?

Hi Brian,
I received the registration email also, have you checked the bookstore's list for the required books for NUR 240? It's insane! There are like 11 required books! The good thing is most of them are paperbacks, so not super expensive. I may take you up on the offer to borrow the pharm book!
Are you taking research in nursing this fall? I took it spring, and have the book if you need it. I am planning on going to the welcome ceremony, are you?
Yes, I think the class/clinical sections are pre-assigned. If you want to switch, maybe email the BSNx2 list and see if anyone would want to trade sections? Did you get the email from Maris about the cisco training? That is pre-assigned too, but she said if anyone had conflicts to email her.
