Student liabililty insurance

Any suggestions where to get this. Wondering if there is a local agent or if I have to get it through a national company. Also, is there a $ amount you insure for? Thanks!

Re: Student liabililty insurance

Where are you going to school? At Schoolcraft, you have to buy it from the school. It is mandatory, and costs $20. It lasts for one year, but I don't remember how much liability it covers. You can't start clinicals without it!

Are you sure your school doesn't offer this? I don't know much about it, but I'd be surprised if your school can't give you some affordable options. Good luck

Re: Student liabililty insurance

I bought mine online through nso.com for $29 per year. I'm at MCC and they suggest that we get it, but don't require it. Thanks for the post. Reminded me that I have to renew it in a couple of weeks.
