Re: macomb cc nursing program

Actually, you do not need all of your prereqs complete to get in. They jsut need to be done by the time you start your nursing classes. I don't have them done yet and I am in. Also, yes it is best to have a 4.0 as most people do, but I did not and I got in.

Re: macomb cc nursing program

What prereqs do you need for the program? I didn't realise that they only take the last 12 credits for your GPA. That would open up that option for me, as I have been taking classes there since I graduated almost 20 years ago. I am currently at Baker College, but who knows how that is going to go. I need to feel like I am working on another plan just in case.

Thanks!

Re: macomb cc nursing program

You need to take Composition or communications, Intro to Psych, Fundamentals of Nutrition, and A&P. You also need microbiology, but if you can't get it done it's ok to take it during the first semester of the program.

I took both the Psych and nutrition classes this semester online, and they are easy as can be. Lots of busy work but not hard. My A&P and composition are through other schools so I'm not sure how those are at macomb.
