When passing the NCLEX exam are you licensed to work in all 50 states or just Michigan?

I see. So each state has their own NCLEX exam and you need to retake it each time you move out of state?

That really makes it difficult for someone if they wanted to move every 1-2 years.

It is a national exam, not a state specific exam. So it should be good in all 50 states.

At least that is what I got from google.

NCLEX is a national exam and has reciprocity but to work in a state you need a license and that is where it changes. If you live in the state and want to work and have a license already in another state then you need to meet requirements for endorsing
