Oh, happy day. That was a HAPPY freakin' day. I got the mail, saw my huge envelope, opened it and immediately burst into tears, called my mom, and drove 15 minutes to where my husband and friends were so I could tell them all in person. It was a huge deal because I worked so hard to do well in my pre-reqs and the school is also fairly competitive. To celebrate, my awesome husband treated me to a facial at a spa (never had I even stepped foot in a spa before) and a night at a very nice hotel in town. A friend threw a party for me and we invited my closest pals and had a blast. It was a GREAT way to celebrate. And now, in slightly more than a month, I'm about to finally start what I set out to do when I was about seven years old. It feels good.
