Question Hospitals in MICH- insurance or benefits?

Do most hospitals in michigan offer insurance or benefits and if so does it come out of our own pockets?

Re: Hospitals in MICH- insurance or benefits?

I can tell you that University of Michigan offers a VERY comprehensive benefits package based on pre-tax payroll deductions and reasonable out-of-pocket expenses ($15 co-pay for Dr's appointments, for example). As far as I know, most if not all hospitals are offering similar benefits for their nurses... it's almost becoming an industry standard because the hospitals know that they're going to have issues retaining nurses if somewhere else has a better benefit package.
