I am an ER agency nurse and all the hospitals I go to (in the Detroit area) tends to send burn pts. to the University of Michigan. That's all I really know. Hope it helps!

Hi I currently work in the UM Trauma/Burn ICU and previous at the Detroit Receiving Hospital Burn Unit. Detroit Receiving definatey gets more Burns in the context of volume and acuity. UM gets mostly flown in bad Trauma's. DRH is consistently busy with sick burns being in an inner city envionment. Both are great places to work! Good luck!
