Not to beat a dead horse but how do you know without any amount of reasonable doubt that this is the FACT? There are always two sides to a story. One is innocent until proven guilty and merely taking one's word without due investigation is not how the law works. The problem with posting potentially defamatory messages in forums like this is that you don't know who are reading these. Hospital reps can be reading these posts and one is not completely anonymous on the internet. People can track you down and what you write can have potentially damaging consequences. As nurses, or would be nurses, we need to be careful with what we claim to be true. Allegations tend to interest a lot of people but in the end, is it productive or is it merely spreading gossip? At any rate, if there was truly a mistake or wrongdoing in the above case, allnurses is not the avenue to discuss this. Any lawyer can tell you that. That's why the owners of this site are careful about what posts are allowed by the moderators.
