Question about financial aid for grad school

Hi,
Just wondering if anyone has been through this same situation. I'm looking into direct entry programs in Boston (MGH, BC, Simmons, Northeastern, etc). I will be living at home during school, and I was wondering if these schools would end up looking at my parents' finances when assessing my financial need. I will be paying for school myself, but if they look at my parents' finances, then I will definitely get much less financial aid then I really need. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Question about financial aid for grad school

if your parents claim you on their taxes as a dependent, then they will look at your parents income.
good luck
