Does anyone know anything about St. Elizabeth's in Brighton?

Hi! I was wondering if anyone works at St. Elizabeth's or knows anything about working at this hospital. I see that they have a new graduate RN program and was wondering if anyone had any info! Thanks!

Re: Does anyone know anything about St. Elizabeth's in Brighton?

Hi:
i don't know too much about it personally. i had a couple of classmates who did clinicals there and they loved it. It's part of the Caritas Christi group who I think is about to go under a big change in ownership (I think I heard that somewhere, I work nights so double check that info)...anyhoo you ay want to call them to see if you can set up an appt to shadow on a floor that you're interested in. That'll give you an oppotunity to ask a lot of questions r/t to their programs and what the hospital has to offer.

lots of luck to you ! PM me if I can help further

St. E's is a Boston hospital, but it is not a trauma center. They seem to do more Stroke, high risk OB, and cardiac.

St. E's is part of Caritas Christie which is being taken over by another mgt company instead of the diocese.
It has a great reputation for cardiac and NICU.
tough to get to... have to go thru boston traffic or take the T and walk. Franciscan Childrens is also across the street. Interviewed there and pay was so so. Good Luck!!

From our horrible friends at the Mass Hospital Association:

This is what makes up the Caritas system. Also the former Southwood Hospital across the street from Walpole (opps Cedar Junction State Prison) which sits abandoned.

Caritas Carney Hospital
2100 Dorchester Avenue
Dorchester
Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center
235 N. Pearl Street
Brockton
Caritas Norwood Hospital
800 Washington Street
Norwood

Saint Elizabeths Hospital also.

Thanks everyone for the help! I'm not from the area and didn't have clinicals in any of the Boston area hospitals so thanks so much for the info!
