Well I called Brigham yesterday..and it looks like they are looking for nurses on their new medical step-down unit they are opening in June I believe...day/night rotation 36 hour weeks. I've accepted the interview offer, but if I do get offered a position...I think I'm going to decline. That's the beauty of already having a job....when looking you don't feel pressured....
I hope you are offered the position at MGH......but if that does not work out....like you said you are already in a good hospital, it just has some kinks that need to be worked out and just a fyi...nowhere is perfect, staffing issues are everywhere.....
