Question Maryland Nursing Schools

I want to apply to some nursing schools for next year and I was thinking about Univ of MD-Baltimore, Towson University. I want to get my BSN then go get my MSN.. Could someone tell me somethings about this school like how do they opearte are they a really good school and what type of gpa do I need to be accepted? Thank You

Good, you found us here!

U of MD has a great reputation, from what I have heard. They require 59 credits of pre req's and your GPA from your pre req's is one of the key things they look at, obviously. I have heard various things over the past years, but it sounds like the range for acceptance there runs about 3.5-3.7 as a cut off. However, they also require the NET now, which is a nursing pre entrance exam and I am told that they also look at the whole picture of the candidate. They are holding an upcoming information session on May 29th, which you can RSVP to by going to their web site.

I'm not familiar with Towson's program but you could do a forum search and find several older threads on both these schools.
