Hello everyone,

I am moving to Baltimore area soon and I would like to know how much does the hospital pay for the CNA?GNA licenses. I have couple months experiences in the nursing home. I would like to work in the hospital though. Also, is it hard to find a job as a CNA in the hospital?

Its been a while but I think you are looking at the $12-14 per hour range. It should be easy to get a hospital job if you are licensed. Good luck, Jules

Getting into a hospital is very long process especially a good hospital who has good benefits. I have been trying to get in the hospital for a couple months now. But Genesis Health care is looking for GNA only. I believe its between $12-14. They desperately need people. Hospitals like when you have atleast 6 months to a year experience. So I have been trying to do private duty until I can get enough experience under my belt. You can look at this website www.healthcareersource.com.
