I got to CCBC Catonsville but the process is the same. You will need good grades in your pre-reqs...most people in my class were 3.5 or higher BUT the last class thatjustgot in theirs was a little lower....supposedly not as many applicants. You will need to do well on your TEAS test- aim for above the 90th percentile.

I got in my 1rst shot at Catonsvile but I also had a 4.0. I had friends that didn't get in w/ me @ 3.33 but they did get in this semester.

Good luck!

Re: ccbc essex students

i just got accepted for spring 2007 at the catonsville campus.. i had a 3.2 on my prerequisites and an overall GPA of 3.0. I have completed all of the prerequistes that are required for the nursing program. I think you have a better chance of getting accepted if You have completed most of your prerequisites and have better grades. A higher score on the teas would also increase your chance of getting accepted.

Re: ccbc essex students

I had a 4.0 and 90th percentile on the TEAS but have just completed the program and finished with some who had much lower GPAs and TEAS scores so it is possible. I would highly recommend looking into other programs in the area before Essex though.
