CCBC-Prenursing Fall Semester 2007

Hi everyone,

I am one semester away from applying to the nursing program, I have to take Micro & PSYC 103 in the Spring 2008. I am currently taking A&P2, and I am hanging in there!! Lots of studying, I have Dr. Gorski as my professor and she is tough. She is a great teacher but she don't play around, she will work your finger to the bone.(Smile, I'm serious).

So good luck to everyone who is on the same journey as I am, looking forward to hearing from you all!!

Awww I remember Dr. Gorski. I had her for A+P 1. She WAS tough but wow she was a great teacher. Take Dr. kaiser for Micro! He's awesome! I can't help you with Psych 103...my professor was a loonbird haha. I dont think he's teaching anymore though.

Re: CCBC-Catonsville Prenursing Spring Semester

You will actually have both. I know it looks in the catalog like you will have one or the other but they actually both teach the course. They are both wonderful and will give you an excellent foundation.

It goes that way for all of the courses actually. You will have 3 instructors for M/S 1, 2 for Psych, 2 for OB, 1 for PEDS, 1 for Trends, 1 for Community, 3 for M/S 2 and 4 for M/S 3 ....well at least that is how it was with my class.

I take my final nursing exam tomorrow! CONGRATS ON GETTING IN! If you EVER have any questions about the program please just ask!

Our class started with 63 and 29 of us from the original group made it. We did pick up some people who had fallen behind from classes above us.

As for dosage TAKE YOUR TIME. You have PLENTY of time. Do each problem on scrap paper a few times each before you transfer your answers to the test paper. They will teach you how to do each problem. Take good notes and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. I dint pass the Fundamentals dosage until the 2nd time...I rounded wrong..so just be diligent and you'll be fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello My name is Larhonda and I have been accepted to nursing at Catonsville for the spring 08' semester. I think Dundalk has the easiest biology classes there, besides Professor Thorndill (biol 110) at essex. I took Dr. Madike for Micro and is so nice. He will do everything he can to help u pass. He does have a strong accent, but if you concentrate you can understand him.
