Anyone at CCBC have/had Gorski for A+PI?

Just wondering about the "general biology review test" that we have to take online. We have 1 hour and 1 chance to take it. I got an A in Bio 110 but some of the things on the " study objectives list" ...I have no idea what they are....was the test easy or hard? Since I can take it at home I know it's open book...but I'm just a little nervous about clicking that " take test now" button LOL! I have until the 12th.

Well I finally got the guts to click " take now". Wasn't too bad. I got a 44/50 so I am pretty OK with that.

I had Gorski for AP I & II

Hi there!

Prof Gorski is wonderful--you will KNOW YOUR STUFF when you're done! She's actually very approachable, in spite of her first impression of being a bit of a hard@$$...I really liked her.

You must MUST stay on top of your reading...and write in the margins of your outline when she gives you extra info--I used to go home and retype the outline with the extra info--yup, retyped it all. It helped.

I don't check this board much--I have since moved to Missouri and my education is on hold indefinitely--4 kids is enough for now, but I finished all my prerecs...

I'll try to pop in once a week--hopefully you'll have good news on your progress, and if you have any other Q, I'll try my best to help!

Best of luck to you!

P.S. Who do you have (or did you have) for your other classes? Micro?

I haven't had Micro yet,,,I'm taking that in the fall...from the looks of it I will probably have Kaiser for Micro and Lathrop-Davis for A+P II.

I really like Prof. Gorski. She's really been easy to follow ( despite some students are having a hard time w/ her accent). We have our first lecture exam this coming Thurs on Orientation/Histology/Integumentary/+ Nervous Histology + CNS/PNS. I feel pretty ready for it ESPECIALLY since I thought it was fill in the blanks! Then she told us it was mult. choice, T/F, and matching! That makes me a lot happier!

I am currently taking Micro with Kaiser and he is very good. I would recommend him. He teaches at the Catonsville campus.

I can't apply until I am " done or in" A+P II. So, I will be applying this fall for a spring entrance.
