Summer nurse tech

Anyone worked as a nurse tech in any of the New Orleans area hospitals? I am interested in finding out how the summer nurse tech programs are.

When are you able to be a nurse tech? Do you have to be so far along in NS? Can you be asttending a 2 yr program and still do nurse tech? Im just curious. It's something I would consider also after I start NS ! Thanks

I will be doing the program at EJ this summer in Telemetry/CCU. The requirement is that you complete Basics and pass their interview process.
I am so excited about it! I will let you know how it is after I start.
