DSoginer and others: Do we have to wear our scrubs on Friday 8/10 to Orientation?
Also, did they say it was ok to have white , completely closed toe crocs?
Where in New Orleans can we buy the nursing kit supplies(bandage scissors, cuff, etc.)?

I wondered about the uniforms and whether we wear them Friday. However I do not believe they said one way or the other. I have my uniforms but I think I am wearing dress clothes. I will email OLOL and ask. Also you pick up your kit at Uniforms by Bayou. I bought everything on the list and it was $173.00. The stethscope I bought was a mid priced one, a Litman Classic II but there are cheaper ones. As far as the crocs, I remember someone asking if we could wear them and whether we could have the open heel crocs and was told that they would have to have heels (I do not think they make these). I do not have my shoes yet...

I emailed someone with Tulane but they are out of town, so I emailed someone, NB, with OLOL and she said that we are to wear business clothes and not our uniform; as far as she knows. I will let you know if I hear differently, but I think NB is right.
