I was accepted to the west jeff program.Had to turn it down due to hubby finishing Masters. It was the hardest thing I have had to do. Called admissions in BR and said they just added new program as of this week. Application on line will be updated soon. The new one will start in June 2008 at EJ and still have one at Tulane in Fall 2008. Just thought some might want to know. Now there are three choices!!! I will reapply again.

They told me that they just got approval this week and are in the process of getting it updated on the web and application. Call them to get the verbal ok and instructions on the application process. I was told that you could apply and just write for EJ program on top of the application if it had not yet been updated on the web!

Has anyone heard any updates about the program being offered at EJGH? I do not see anything on the web site and I am wondering about the application deadline as well.

I am finishing in May at the OLOL Tulane program and yes, we have heard that EJ will have this program in the Fall. That is all I know right now. You can call the OLOL program at Tulane or email Dr. XXX at (send me a personal request and I will send you her email); I believe that Dr. XXX, our administrator, will also be running that program. If you search for blogs with OLOL you will find so much information on the programs that are all basically the same.

Good Luck and plan on giving up everything but school for 9 mths, but it is only 9 mths and it is going by fast

News on East Jeff... One of the teachers from Tulane & now West Jeff told me today that E. Jeff may start up as soon as this summer and that they need applicants. Send me a private message and I will give you the email address of the person you need to talk to about this.

Also, they have lost a lot of people in the West Jeff program because of the first class, Pharmocology. This is one tough class and they use it to weed out people. If you are going to apply to any of the OLOL programs send me a private message and I will give you an address where you can study Pharmacology while waiting to get into a program. I highly recommend that you do this.
