Re: Charity spring 2007

I am waiting to take the PAX in July. I am also registering for the Jan 07 class. I plan to take A/P this summer or fall. I am not sure which is better. How far have you gotten?

How did you do on the PAX, do you have any advice for it? Also, how are the classes scheduled for the first semester at Charity. Do you get to choose which ones you want to take first, or are you only given flexibility with the times and days? I wish you well also.

Re: Charity spring 2007

I got a 126 on the pax. My only advise is to bye the study booklet(they are in the book store) and refresh yourself on all the math work and practice timing yourself so you get faster. Don't wait till the last minute!!!
I don't know how the classes are I will be able to tell you when i recieve my exceptance letter which january's letters will be sent out this summer.

No you will not be able to get in for spring 2007, it takes one year from the day u take your pax test to get in. Maybe u can get early admission if u talk to ms galvin. Good luck, how far along are u with your classes at delgado?

Re: Charity spring 2007

Hi, I have applied for Charity for Spring 07 and heard today that my folder will be given to the Board for advisement. As to the Pax Exam.. I made a 134 which is great because anything over 130 is the highest point score that you can get on the report that determines if you get into Clinicals or not. I received that score by studying the NLN's book for Pax tests. I lent the book to someone and did not get it back, so I do not have the name in front of me. It is a peach colored book, anyone??. Some of the questions on the PAX test were exactly the same as examples from that book. I ordered the book from Amazon, a well spent $20.00.
