Hi there! I just found this site b/c I figured there had to be some additional students out there with anxiety about the letters for spring 09! I called the other day and they said 2 weeks we would recieve letters

I know a girl that called the Admissions office the other day and they told her right over the phone that she was accepted for Spring 2009.
I've been calling them, but they don't answer!!

whattt? Over the phone? Does that mean that since she told me i'd have a letter in 2 wks im a no go?? Ohhh no!

It's not time to panic yet. They send out the letters in batches, so when I got mine, it was after many others got theirs. Most of the faculty is not there over the summer, hang on a little longer before you start stressing. I know it's hard waiting, but you'll be in before you know it.

Well, my friend called asking if the letters had been mailed out yet and the admissions lady asked for her name. Then, she asked my friend if she wanted to know and so she told her. It all depends on who you spoke to. Not all of the admissions people will tell you over the phone.
I think I'll just wait til I get my letter.......

I also called sometime last week and they said two weeks. I didnt know they can tell you over the phone. I guess I will try tomorrow. I'll be lucky if someone actually picked up the phone? Did they call the admissions or someone particular?? This is so excruciating to wait for the letter..so close..yet so far...

yeah I just called and asked for admissions also...and she asked me after i gave her my stdnt # if i had completed anatomy...after i told her that she said i'd have a letter in 2 weeks! Geeeez these 2 weeks have been worse then the entire 6 months!

do u know her teas scores and gpa by chance..I've heard so many stories people with not so great teas scores getting in, and people with low gpa and people with high gpa..i have no idea how they select people..

To WANT2NURSE: My friend just called the admissions number and talked to the lady that answered.


To mrsanxiety: I wonder why she asked if you had completed anatomy??!?! Did you complete A&P I & II?????
I believe that her gpa was a 3.4 or 3.5 and teas was an 80. Not too sure though.
