Charity nursing school question

Hi, I was wondering just how hard it is to get into charity. I know the wait is about a year for when you apply. I am taking the pax on June 18, 2005. I have a over college GPA of a 2.8 and a GPA for the nursing curriculum of a 3.0. I still have to take A&p II, Microbology, and FA elective. I am trying to apply by the August 31st deadline for fall 2006. I can have all my pre-reqs taken by then. I am just wondering if they only accept students with extremely high GPAs like a 4.0. let me know anything!!

Hi,
I just got in for Spring. You can get in with less than a 4.0 but try to do well in micro and the two A&P's. Also make sure you take the PAX before august..b/c anyone who takes it after august won't be considered for fall. I took it last October and got in for Spring.

I have a BA in Education and with that I had about a 3.0. At delgado for the remaining nursing prereqs I took I have about a 3.75. I was told just to try and get A's or at least B's in A&P1 and 2 and micro..that those weigh more heavily than the other pre reqs.

Hopefully you did well on the PAX. Did you use the studyguide book?

Yes i used the study book. I have been review for about 3 months now. The test was not so bad, except the science part was really hard.
