You are eligible for Stafford loans if you are at least half time (therefore, all semisters at CSN would be eligible). Whether subsidized or unsubsidized will depend on your income level. I don't think that prior degrees/amount of prior loans really play into your eligibility. I do know that there is a lender (can't find the card I picked up from financial aid at the moment, you could get it at any DCC financial aid office) that forgives interest on student loans once you are licensed as a nurse in the NO area. Also, there is a federal program that gives grants to health care providers in NO.
