MICU to CICU?

I've interviewed and gotten a job offer at another hospital in the CICU and I'm very interested in accepting it. I currently work in an MICU and have been a nurse for only a year so I'm wondering how well I'd do in the CICU. Mostly because I don't have a lot of cardiac background. We do get MI patients with a cardiac history and so I am familiar with some of the drips used. However, my EKG skills are pretty bad in my opinion and and I don't know anything about CRRT or balloon pumps. Plus we don't get a lot of surgery patients in our MI unless its overflow so my familiarity with post-surgery patients, chest tubes, etc is pretty limited.

Yikes! I'm scaring myself.

Orientation would be 3-4 weeks of mostly cardiac since I would likely be able to get checked off of any MICU-related skills without too much trouble. I hope.

Anyway, any thoughts on how to best get myself up and running quickly or even if moving into a new area so soon in my career is a good idea? Many thanks for anyone's thoughts on this.
