had a bad 12 hours

I just had maybe the worst twelve hour shift I have ever had. It wasn't that it was an extrememly difficult assignment. It was just how things progressed and eventually finished.

I don't want to violate HIPPA so no details but it was one of those types that go bad really quickly. Serious condition that went to critical then to grave and finally to Terminal.

I have lost people before and I know I will again but this was so abrupt and the family so distraught that it was wrenching.

I guess I just wanted to get a little closure myself.

Thanks

Unfortunately, we have all had the shift from h***, and can't wait until it is over. Sorry that you had such a rough one.................hopefully they will be far apart for you.

But wasn't that patient lucky that they had you there, trying so hard?

(((((HUGS)))))) my Friend.

So sorry for the tragic turn of events, and the pain involved for ALL.

I'm glad you were able to re energize... my favorite place to do this is in my garden where that kind of"communing" comes so natural.

Know that your presence made a difference to all the lives you touched. Now allow your own heart to be touched and healed.
