cath lab numbers

We have 2 labs, one for angiograms only and one for angioplasty/adhoc angioplasty. We also do permanent pacemaker insertions, cardioversions/EPS and ICD's. One lab is open form 7 30 to 430, the other from 9 to 6 00.
We are a self contained unit where we admit and also recovery in our 10 bed/ 5 chair unit.

Over the last 3 days we have done a total of 66 patients, can you believe it !!, We are exhausted. The OT is off the wall.

anyone else have numbers like this ??

Re: cath lab numbers

We have 8 rooms if I remember correctly. And they have their own pre-post unit that is a 20 bed unit. Not sure about our total volume but we are a large tertiary center (1027 beds) and the major cardiac center in the region.
