The Pass CCRN (Dennison, 3rd edition) is definitely enough test questions to get your certification. What is invaluable is the CD of questions that comes with the book. We have found that the percentage of correct questions you attain on that CD correlates almost exactly to the real exam. A few people have actually done better on the actual exam than on the PASS CCRN CD, but no one has actually done worse. So we have found that it is an excellent way to predict when you are ready to take the exam and that you will pass!! Some of the questions are verbatim the exact same on both. Don't study from the book, it is way too much information, but use it as a reference. The best price is on

There are a lot of courses out there that will give you the information that you need. But, what the consensus has been is the CCRN DVD review course by Dr Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio. She is such a masterful teacher and presents the material a way that really helps you learn. You will never be bored watching her course. Her website is

Also, the website
http://pacep.org give an awesome 2 part tutorial on hemodynamics. I didn't worry too much about the quizzes, but going through the tutorials is extremely helpful. The quality is awesome.
Have you joined the AACN? Do you have a timeframe in mind?
Thanks for posting! There are several nurses presently in the process of studying, which can be very empowering. There is no doubt that you will pass with those 3 references, no kidding!!
