Does anyone know if there is a wait time for LPN classes in Louisville. I'm considering getting my CNA (2 weeks) and trying to work as a CNA while completing an LPN program. I'm single with no children. Any advice? What does an LPN earn per hour in Louisville? I've heard that CNA's are $9-$11 in Louisville in a nursing home setting and the burn-out is high.

Re: LPN Louisville

I believe Galen College has the shortest wait time for their LPN program.

You may want to work as a CNA in a facility, then you can go agency after 6 months. If you go agency, you'll make more money and have more flexible hours. You could also immediately go to work in a hospital as a CNA. You may find more flexible hours that way, too.

I'm not sure what CNAs make around here now.
