Please I need some advice I'm 45 years old I'm an LPN and I wanting to become an RN. But I want a weekend program. I have a good job but right now what I'm doing is an RN job for LPN pay and I'm not happy about it. I have talked to many school programs such as Spencerian and Madisonville I just don't know what to do. Spencerian I would just have to travel one day a week and I could get in on Jan session but Madisonville I would have to go Fri thru Sun every weekend but I couldn't get in till 2008. Right now I'm confused My husband would rather me wait till 2008 but I 'm not getting any younger. If you have any advice please let me know. I wish some older nurses that went back to school would help me out on this confused person.

You have to do what you want to do. Hubby may have good reason for wanting you to wait, talk with him, but if it is "just not convient" for him at this time, follow your heart and go for it.
