Re: EKU Nursing Student

Hey..fellow EKU'er here. I have a few more classes to take then hopefully I will be in the ADN program this time next year. Does anyone know how selective they have been in the past few semesters? A coworker who attends Somerset Technical College told me that the community/technical colleges are harder to get into than EKU or any of the other four year universities..except for UK.

Re: EKU Nursing Student

Greetings, my fellow EKU nurses.

I am graduating from the BSN program in May, and I am so excited. Yes, EKU is still the toughest nursing school in the state, and it is the best. How many schools can say that their passing rate on boards is 100%? Not many! Good luck to all of you deciding to go into nursing at EKU, and those that are continuing your education. If you want to go into nursing, EKU is the way to go. They are tough for a reason, and they have a good reputation to keep. Keep up the good work!

Considering EKU for LPN to RN Bridge

Wondering in what ways EKU is "tough" as has been mentioned?

For current/former students - what was most "tough" for you personally?

Advice would be wonderful!
