Clinical hours

This MAY be the DUMBEST question, but.... Is there ANY schools around that I can do clinical hours on the weekend? I work M-F (40 hours) Midnite-8am. This will be my first year (going for LPN, then onto RN). Any suggestions would be GREAT....I'm open for anything, just ready to get started.

Re: Clinical hours

Even if there are weekend clinicals I don't think you'll do yourself justice, or the patients, by working nocs 5 days a week then clinical. You've got to give up something. Nursing is hard work.
How do you plan to stay fully awake for the didcatic portion of school? I wish you luck but this sounds like a lose-lose situation.

Re: Clinical hours

Don't want to be a downer but...when will you sleep? School from 9 until 2 or 3 (if you are lucky) homework from 4 until 7 or seven, dinner, housework, shopping etc until 11, then work until 8am? You are going to be one busy person. I wish you luck, but I don't think its going to work. Part time maybe, full time...can't do it. You'll be doing yourself a diservice and it won't be healthy for body mind or soul.
