assocociate degree vs bachelors degree

Right now i am taking my pre req at JCC in order to get into the nursing program. At Jcc you can earn an associate rn degree. I am wondering what the pay difference is if any for a new grad with an assoc rn versus a bachelors. ? someone please help!!!

Hi....the only time a bsn is going to make you more money is if you want to go into management. If you want to be a floor nurse an associates will pay exactly the same as a bsn. Sometimes you can even get to management without the bsn....not often but I have seen it twice and one of the ladies did it for 8 years without a bsn. I don't have either degree but I know for sure that that is how the pay is. Everyone in nursing gets paid differently..it really depends on the experience and how good of a nurse you are!
