KU is a great school......but K-State is doing pretty good themselves! I saw a great T-shirt the other day. "Friends don't let friends go to MU"

Went to school there in the late 60's, (KU went to the Orange Bowl one of those years) and I'm now pretty isolated in Washington State, where they wouldn't know a sold out basketball game if it hit them in the face. They think 5000 people at a BB game is a big crowd!

For the past few years I've been cheering for the KSU foot ball team and their Women's BB team also. But now we can cheer for our football team as well as the basketball team.

I know this is way late but I just joined the forums -- I'm a senior at KU in Spanish (going to do Nursing after my BA is finished). I'm very proud of our football team this year if for no other reason than we beat Mizzou. Badly. May the goalposts rest in peace.

Hurray for the basketball team also -- beating Mizzou 3 times in one season is pretty impressive!

When I made this post we were on a 4 game win streak....4 and 1 over all. Not too bad for a rebuilding team!
