Re: Mercy College of Health Science

I received my associate's degree there and it was a good program. However, I declined not to get my bachelor's there for several reasons. The BSN program is fairly new to the college. It's classes aren't accomodating for working people. Most classes are scheduled in the middle of the afternoon, eliminating the ability to work days or evenings. And, they seem to have different criteria for the liberal arts & sciences curriculum compared to other schools so I was going to need to take 54 credits at Mercy, whereas at U of Iowa, I only needed 29.
Mercy is a highly accredited school. The BSN program just wasn't convenient for me.
