St. V's graduate nurse program

Hi everyone! I will be graduating in December and have an interview at St. Vincent's hospital for their graduate nurse program... Has anyone been through this? Likes, dislikes, comments, opinions? It seems like a great opportunity and I just want to get a little inside info before heading in. Thanks!!!

Re: St. V's graduate nurse program

I was accepted into the program when I graduated May 2006 but I took a day shift position on cardiac medical instead. Big mistake! I was very unhappy on cardiac medical and eventually switched to cardiac recovery. I wish I would have taken the opportunity to explore different areas and work on the units before deciding on a specialty.

Good luck with your decision and if you choose to do it I wish you the best!
