PSB vs NET test

Just wondering what your thoughts are on the NET test and if you think it is harder or about the same as the PSB test.. Thanks, Amanda

Re: PSB vs NET test

Amanda,

Sorry I did not see this earlier! I have taken both, and IMHO I thought the NET to be a bit more difficult. PSB has sections on judgement, spelling, etc. Whereas NET had math and reading only. If you can get a copy of the NET study guide, it helps.

HTH,
Lori

Re: PSB vs NET test

The PSB is the test you have to take and pass with a certain core score before you can be accepted into any LPN program. It is done on the computer and takes about between 2 and 3 hours. It covers sections on math, spelling, science, nursing judgement, and critical thinking. At my school it has about a 30-35% pass rate. They also have a website if you were interested. Just google "psbtest" and you should find it.
