Thanks for the info. I previously worked in a cardiac step-down unit, ED, and I am now in nursery (both regular and special care). I do miss the adult side of things although my nursery job is much less stressful! The ideal, if there is such a thing would be a unit that would let me self-schedule or allowing me to work registry in an area. I plan on going back full-time once my little guy is in school. I have heard good things from a couple of people that have come up here to work about Community down there. Let me know any thoughts.....

If NICU is what you are looking for, I would often float to NICU since I worked peds there and we had low census. It was mainly feeders and growers. If you want higher acuity look Riley or St. V's.
Community was good to work for, didn't pay as high, but decent sign on bonus, I think I got a $2000.
