Ivy Tech Valpo...

I just had a few questions for anyone that has been in or is in the ASN program at Valpo Ivy Tech...

Where are the clinicals located?
Are the classes every day during the week, or how much of the week does it take up?
After you got your acceptance letter, how do you know when to go in and schedule classes for fall semester???

(I just got my acceptance letter last week ))

Thanks!!

Re: Ivy Tech Valpo...

I don't know about Valpo specifics, but your acceptance letter should have had a date for Orientation. Usually you schedule your classes and all that at Orientation. At Indy, we will register for classes, pay for lab supplies and get all the basic info. The letter said the session will last 3 hours. Hope that helps.

Classes dont start until August 24 so we will have plenty of time to get situated. Hope that helps and see ya on the 18th.

Re: Ivy Tech Valpo...

I just dont understand how i didnt get a date and time. I called the office and they told me they didnt have a date yet.....

so if you have the exact time that would help A LOT and where its going to be. Its obviously important that I go, and i dont want to miss it bc they didnt tell me when it was.......

thanks!

It says on your acceptance letter that the nursing orientation and Registration meeting is on June 18th at 2 pm in the community room d 119 at the main ivy tech campus and if you are not in attendance your spot will be given to someone else. that is for the ASN program . I hope that helps. See ya there!
